The University of Texas at Austin, the Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators, and the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association hosted a seminar entitled Virginia Tech: Lessons Learned and Emerging Issues on November 16, 2007. The seminar provided valuable information to law enforcement executives as well as college and university administrators. Representatives from the Virginia State Police and the FBI provided a presentation covering a timeline of events and lessons learned.
