2009 Texas School-Based Law Enforcement Conference

The Texas School-Based Law Enforcement (TxSBLE) Conference is an exceptional opportunity for school administrators, teachers, parents, and school-based law enforcement officers including ISD PD, school resource officers, and security personnel to receive training on best practices in school safety and security. The Center for Safe Communities & Schools (CSCS) and Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) have designed this conference to focus on timely and relevant topics including, but not limited to: Emergency Operations Planning, Active Shooter Tactical Response, Homeland Security and Your Campus, Gang Awareness/Intervention, Dating Violence, Incident Command System, and Current Drug Trends.

For the second year, the TxSBLE Conference will offer a track for higher education law enforcement officers. A topic of particular interest to officers at colleges and universities will be available at each breakout session.

By attending this conference, you may be eligible to receive TCLEOSE hours, DARE in-service hours or CEU credits.

The Center for Safe Communities & Schools is contracted by the Commission on Law Enforcement to provide training courses. Courses offered by Center for Safe Communities & Schools may be submitted to the Commission for credit.
