8th Annual Anti-Gang Poster Contest

Creativity and a positive message can help your students win up to $500!

The Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) and the Texas Gang Investigators Association (TGIA) are proud to announce the 8th Annual Anti-Gang Poster Contest.

The essay contest has been a huge success in the past, and we are looking forward to an even greater response this year. Each year the TxSSC recognizes six middle school and high school students for their efforts, thoughts, and ideas on eliminating violence in schools. This contest provides students grades 6th thru 12th an opportunity to draw, create, or paint positive messages against gang violence. This is a wonderful opportunity that gives students the chance to demonstrate their artistic skills and be able to receive up to $500.

Please keep in mind that the deadline for the poster contest is May 2, 2008. In order to be eligible, participants must use the official 2008 Anti-Gang Poster entry form.

For more information about the poster contest contact Cynthia Arredondo or June Cerda at 877.304.2727.
