Enrollment Information

Accreditation
ICJS is certified as a law enforcement academy by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE), and our courses are accredited by the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission. Trainees are eligible to receive credit for ICJS courses if they attend all course sessions and their attendance is documented.

Who May Attend
Our courses are subsidized by a grant from the Governor's Office, Criminal Justice Division, and are open to any interested party.

To Register
Return an application for enrollment accompanied by check made payable to Texas State University - San Marcos or purchase order.

Do Not Delay Early Registration
If you are waiting for your agency's check or purchase order - call us - we make special arrangements to assure your early enrollment.

Cancellations and Refunds
To assure a refund, we must be notified of your cancellation prior to 5PM of the third working day before the course begins. Substitutions are permitted with advance notice.

Housing
For all courses, participants are responsible for their own
travel, meals, and lodging.
