Conference Information
The Texas Teen Tobacco Summit & Comprehensive Tobacco Prevention Conference, hosted by the Center for Safe Communities and Schools and the Texas Department of State Health Services, is a premier assembly of tobacco-control professionals, researchers, healthcare providers, community outreach specialists, law enforcement officers, counselors, teachers and youth dedicated to protecting Texas youth from the dangers of tobacco use and helping those who smoke to quit.
If you are a Law Enforcement Officer, Educator, Health Professional, Tobacco Awareness Instructor, Substance Abuse Professional, Counselor, Parent, C ommunity Leader, Volunteer, Youth Leader, then REGISTER NOW for the 2009 Texas Teen Tobacco Summit & Comprehensive Tobacco Prevention Conference!
This year's conference will be held July 26-29, 2009 at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in The Woodlands, TX.

The Texas School Safety Center is contracted by the Commission on Law Enforcement to provide training courses. Courses offered by the Texas School Safety Center may be submitted to the Commission for credit.

Adult Track Registration Information
$275 by May 29th
$350 May 30th and after
Adult Registration INCLUDES the following:
Sunday Evening Mixer Buffet
Monday Continental Breakfast & Lunch
Tuesday Continental Breakfast & Lunch
Wednesday Continental Breakfast
Adult Registration does NOT include the following:
Lodging (must make & pay for own reservations)
Monday & Tuesday Dinner
If you are an adult who will not be accompanying youth participants to the conference, then the Adult Registration applies to you. Please download and complete
the Adult Registration Form.

Youth Track Registration and Scholarship Information
The conference also offers learning and leadership opportunities for youth groups. TxSSC is accepting youth group paid registrations and scholarship applications for the conference. Youth Track Scholarships are limited, so you may consider paying for all or part of your group to ensure a spot. Youth attending the conference must be a part of a school, church or community group working on tobacco issues, and must be accompanied by an Adult Sponsor.

Registration to the Youth Track (Youth & Sponsors) includes the following:
3 Nights Lodging (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Nights)**

Wednesday Continental Breakfast
**TxSSC will make lodging reservations for ALL Youth Track Participants (Paid and Scholarship). Be prepared for multiple occupancy.
Youth Track Participants (Youth & Sponsors) will NOT be provided with:
Transportation to and from the conference
Room deposits (refundable at checkout)
Incidental costs and charges to room(s)
Call for Presenters and Exhibitors
TxSSC is now accepting Presenter Applications for the 2009 Texas Teen Tobacco Summit and Comprehensive Tobacco Prevention Conference. The deadline for Call for Presenters is April 3, 2009. Presenters will be notified via email no later than June 5, 2009.

We hope y'all had a great time at the 2008 Texas Teen Tobacco Summit. All of us Teen Ambassadors loved meeting you and getting to know you. You truly are leaders and you have such awesome ideas! If you need anything please let us know! We are here for you.
