The Institute for Criminal Justice Studies offers a variety of basic and advanced courses including: Crime Prevention Part I, Crime Prevention Part II, and Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED).

ICJS Mission and Goals

Our mission is to provide quality, state-of-the-art, scientific research-based, interactive crime prevention curricula and training.

Our goal is to work with the Texas Department of Homeland Security and TCLEOSE to design training and assist communities and schools in mitigating, preparing for, responding to and recovering from a myriad of threats.

Institute for Criminal Justice Studies Overview

ICJS and the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) are in collaboration for many courses. ICJS has partnered with leading experts in the field of law enforcement, school safety, counter-terrorism, and other homeland security related subjects. Some of our new partners include Signature Science, LLC.; Instinctive Shooting International Incorporated (ISI,INC.), former Israeli soldiers who bring state-of-the-art mitigation and defense training along with a plethora of first hand experience in dealing with and countering terrorism; Responsive Learning; and Parks Place, LLC. ICJS is continually researching and forming partnerships with the best expert companies and organizations in the country to ensure we deliver the absolute best training possible.

Texas Crime Prevention Association endorses the Institute for Criminal Justice Studies (ICJS) as the primary provider for Crime Prevention Part I, Crime Prevention Part II and new Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) curricula's.
